@masklayer gosh the first one is such a perfect pose
@masklayer honestly all of these make me wanna actually learn stuff about photography
@noiob There's not much to learn tbh... Once you understand basics and understand the capabilities and like weaknesses of equipment you have it's easy/just trial and error
@masklayer uhhh, I theoretically know what all the settings on a camera do, I just don't know how do do stuff with it. Also my trusty Powershot died ages ago so my "equipment" is currently my phone. Definitely gonna see what it's capable of once we get some sun around here though
@noiob If you want to play around with some manual-ish stuff on phone, I'd recommend trying the app "proshot" (it's on everything)
phones have fixed apertures so all you can really adjust is shutter speed and iso but it has a good programmed auto mode where you can adjust either of those and have it compensate. also manual focus, and it can save dngs if you want to try developing those
@masklayer I'm gonna look into that, thanks for the rec! I already have the stock LG app which can use both of the rear cams (the G6 has a pretty cool wide-angle alt camera) and has a manual mode and I downloaded some gCam apk that does wildly different photos so I'm eager to pitch them against each other
@masklayer yeah, that's one of the reasons why I picked it
