hey - big question:

i want a game controller for my PC. doesn't matter if it's wired or wireless. preferably something less than $65.

what controller should i get?

i already have a steam controller but it isn't very good. (doesn't work on non-steam games and the lack of a second stick is Bad)

@sc both the Dualshock 4 and the Xbox One controller are pretty nice and the newest iterations support Bluetooth. I'd say get the one that feels best to you

@noiob @sc those are both really great and Xbone controllers are naively supported on pretty much all games on Windows. DS4 needs the DS4Windows tool but its not too hard to set up. If you're willing to do a little work to set up Wii U Pro controllers are supper great and can be found for around 30$. Though I think Pro controllers are wired only.

@fillertrack @sc the Wii controllers have Bluetooth and, according to some quick googling, will work with Windows over Bluetooth

@fillertrack @noiob I actually found out that Amazon sells their own Xbone controllers and they're cheaper???? Hmm.

@sc @fillertrack so those are third-party ones?
also keep in mind that there's multiple revisions of the xbone controller and only the new ones have Bluetooth, the old ones need a pretty pricey dongle

@sc oh yeah you can use the DS4 touchpad if you set it up through Steam (I think it works similar to the Steam Controller). Might be handy, I never had the chance to try it
