@masklayer gosh the Ashas had a horrible OS though. At least webOS was good
@masklayer oh yeah my 303 never had the time, that looked like a pretty cool thing. Didn't they also have some kind of Instant-Share thingy?
webOS had goods gesture-based navigation, working multitasking and other good stuff. Plus it's Linux-based and had a sizable open source community. Though the Pre I used for a while had horrible battery life and usually crashed when taking a call 😄
@noiob Yeah you could tweet or post to facebook from the top of the timeline. When I got mine (ebay, last year), it was pretty cool because that part still worked, and also auto uploading photos to onedrive still worked
@noiob also the email and weather app still worked. But now basically everything has broken and it's a dedicated opera mini + shit camera device, which is neat and fun, but ultimately not very useful
@noiob I've never actually tried webOS and it looks better, but I did like the timeline UI thing that the asha 201 has - notifications, multitasking, and sharing in one streamlined thing is like a great idea I think. And that it worked at all on such horrendously low end hardware is like interesting at least.
