Internet Companies Being Terrible (Discord), PSA
Discord have updated their TOS to include various atrocious things.
Most of them, you can't opt out of. You can opt out of the Arbitration Clause
(arbitration-opt-out@discord.com), but to do so you have to before the 23rd of October.
The Arbitration Clause includes some of the most henious "You waive all right to a fair trial" parts, so anyone continuing to use Discord is strongly recommended to protect what rights they can, while they can.

@pastelbat correction: the terms of service take effect on the 23rd, and you have 30 days after that point to send the email.

@ky0ko Ah, thankyou
Cont'd, EU Pol
A lot of the crud in their ToS is hilariously illegal in the EU, so this is less worrisome & Discord have admitted it's utterly unenforcable for anyone in Europe, even with all the "You agree to settle all trials in the US only" clauses they stuffed in.
The UK has ostensibly agreed to keep the GDPR, but as with everything Brexit.. Who knows.
(the doc itself: https://discordapp.com/terms , warning that it's the classic "Make our wall of text as inaccessible as possible" style of EULA)
