Also found another good historical fashion book (Historical Fashion in Details: the 17th to 18th Centuries).

I think we forgot how lovely books of clear diagrams of historical pieces paired with hi-resolution photography of the details & construction are.

That kinda professional-and-assuming-decent-reader-knowledge pragmatism of the diagrams & descriptions, paired with all involved still getting to coo at ridiculously embroidered cuffs.
