I wish there were more resources for people with Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, etc, and doing art

Because whenever you see posts about it in general art communities, the response always tends to be the "No!! You can do anything you put yr mind to!! Practice!!! Believe!!!!" stuff..

And uh, I'd really like.. Actually-useful resources. =V Practical advice from ppl with similar problems, for ppl to identify and navigate the stuff they struggle with, yknow?

@pastelbat same but for music

motor coordination disorders are not fun

@colon_three Yes!

I find this in lots of stuff ><

And like, community spaces are important because the amount of ways these can express are so varied!

So if you just get one or two ppl, the discussion tends to be "Idk either" or "I have X and I can do thing fine!" people.

So it feels like.. A dedicated space where a wide array of problems and potential adaptations are acknowledged & presented is necessary for this kinda thing to happen?
