Anyone had to put a stake through the heart of the Windows update auto-restarter lately, and know of the most recent viable method?

Mine's reanimated itself after various regedits and w/e have apparently been patched out, and now every time I go to make a cup of tea it pops up the doomsday clock

@pastelbat i've heard one person say that he set wifi as a metered network, and that prevented the updates from auto-happening
