every yugioh card I've seen has either had
* no rules text
* 1.5 lines of rules text
* 6+ lines filling all available space

I played yugioh a bit at a summer camp (rules might have changed substantially since then)

& as far as I could figure out, having even 1 more monster on the field is an overwhelming advantage, so the first person to run out of Trap Holes loses / to draw Change of Heart or Monster Reborn wins?

there were a bunch of monsters with "sacrifice these 3 specific monsters to summon this one", wow it's highly situational, easy to disrupt, and card disadvantage for one special summon!

1st gen MTG thought "prevent 3 damage" "deal 3 damage" "draw three cards" were all roughly the same power level, so I get that it's gonna be real wonky at first but. still.

@lioness Every few years I still go back to the MtG 1st ed PC RPG and build the most despicably broken decks imaginable.
