I was thinking about the K.Gillen article asking about the Spotify Playlist (Article: https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2015/02/guest-list-kieron-gillen-on-the-music-behind-the-w.html , Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/user/missadalovelace/playlist/11LAaVMMhxPfSp4i2b6JRJ , non Spotify link: https://imgur.com/a/WI3Kn ).
a) Gosh I love that playlist, it meshes so well with the entire "Pop as Emotion & as Cultural History" theme.
b) He mentions not really having a Sahkmet song.. And we've been passively chewing over that since NY read thru to current a few nights ago. (...)

(...) I think Demolition Man by Grace Jones is probably the best fit for "sum up this character in one song". Also it fits one of Sekhmet*'s key pop-icon influences (Grace Jones), and uh it's an amazing song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwUsuf15P3A
(Warm Leatherette by GJ is a close second. "Bad Girls" by MIA and "Oh No" by Marisa & the Diamonds crossed my mind too)
c) Keiron rlly missed a mega pun by not including "Chase The Devil"/"Out of Space". :p
