on this subject // accountability

@artemis@vulpine.club for me its very much a matter of accountability.. like, i had this sitch happen a while back.

a system joined a discord i was on and got upset about something and acted out, they had to be removed and later i had to explain that coming into a server is like inviting an entire friend group who share one account

like while one of them did a bad thing (and i mean, this was pretty edge-case - this headmate's response distressed multiple people who were just having a friendly conversation), i would expect that the group by association should be held accountable for it.

and that's really hard to say coming from me as someone who's had headmates do stupid shit in the past, but the whole is connected by the one, and if the one chooses to do something that's *way* out of line and they both choose not to stop when asked *and* no other headmate stops to intervene...

you can see what's going on with my reasoning process here. the whole must be held liable for the actions of one. like bullets in the same gun, we're all fired from the same trigger, and that's something i'm still coming to grips with even as i start to solidify as a system
