blue apatite is probably one of my favourite stones that have come into my collection I really want a biiiigger one.. or a raw one
I'd never heard of this rock before spotting it in that shop recently.
it's such a pretty turquoise colour....

@Zest cool fact: moon rocks recovered during the Apollo program had traces of apatite, which was of interest bc apatite has water locked up in its chemical structure
crystals of apatite and rutile are often known to grow together as well, resulting in a distinct 'cats-eye' effect if the composite is cut correctly and caught in the right light
