i totally think theres a difference between cultural appropriation and cultural representation/exploration and a lot of folks esp in like primarily white cultures need to twig that.

like before some fella goes on a self-righteous crusade where they espouse their good wholesome white values and just assume folks don't want to share their culture without doing any research, then immediately make an ass of themselves... talk to the ppl who have that cultural background and heritage!

engage them in a productive way and learn somethin about how you can best represent and endorse that culture, because appropriation is bad and making yourself look like a shithead is bad too, though a lot less so (it's just irritating and sad and only serves to slow cultural progress)

people like to think "tails gets trolled" was pretty funny in retrospect but on repeat viewing there's just some pretty offensive language and views being tossed around in there that i'm not sure i'd want to associate myself with in my Pantheon of Greatness
