update i have not fixed my table
update i have fixed my tablet it is workihnjhg now
ok i fixed my tablet. its basically factory new if you ignore the root
just gotta push the recovery image and then i can crack this thing for good
okay my firmware is back together
it turns out that nothing can be permanently destroyed, especially when you are stupid like me. my tablet lives to fist another day
i threwed up my samsung operating system and now my tablet wont work. im fixing this as i type this

5am... i am awake. unfortunately because the fire alarm went off and not because my regular alarm went off. a case of burnt toast
so i updated my tablet and found out why data redundancy is important. not only had i intentionally saved my 2-factor auth codes to another device and could easily export them post-update, i also accidentally backed up my tablet with google, so i could basically get running straight away
so... yeah. back up your stuff folks. and be good about 2fa or you will die

something i'd suggest everyone do if they're using 2fa: make sure your recovery codes are in the place you remember them, and if not, there's no harm in generating new ones.
