init has informed me that they will be upgrading to 6g at some point in time. i dont actually know what 6g would do, but i fear for them

right off the bat i just wanna say if you support jerma and wanna continue enjoying his content in the future, do that shit. be happy and have interests

but also consider that crypto is:

crippling local power networks;

artificially inflating the prices of computer hardware;

consuming massive amounts of electricity that increases the baseline power demand (which means more constant power sources are required to support the additional load, i.e. gas and coal power);

contributing massively to global emissions, via both elevated production of computer hardware *and* increased power demand to supplement it;

barely contributing to the actual countries crypto generation facilities are based in via strategic placement and lack of taxation on capital generated

so it's not great. for anyone. and that a big-name streamer is promoting a distribution platform... it ain't good! at least in my eyes.

if that wasn't enough, consider your response to artists producing and distributing NFTs; if you don't support artists who pull shit like that, maybe reconsider your approach to jerma's actions
