bringing me forthcloudst to the conclusion that shapeshifting is not actually normal in the dreamscape, but flying/floating and possibly telepathy are

...now that i think of it, i don't think i've ever actually shapeshifted in front of other people before in dreams

so last night was the first time my dream self did that, but they remained human while stretching their arm out, so maybe it doesn't count

according to a dream i had last night my dream self apparently can stretch out their arm(s)

not sure if that's a quirk of being a shapeshifter (since my dream self's only ever shifted into animals and never shifted body parts on their own) or if it's a new power altogether
