@radicalrobit old bnet also dropped you in a public channel on startup, but even back then they had responsive moderation and there were limits to how much you could send. modern blizzard is incompetent
@shaderphantom this is actually how some of the very first hardware-accelerated graphics computers, like the pixelplane, worked
it's a damn shame this industry has moved away from this sort of thing because it's impressively powerful for how simple it is
this happens to be an incredibly natural and straight-forward way to generate all of optimal visual geometry, collision hulls and visibility information in a BSP tree.
re: twitter shid
@LexYeen@snouts.online I read this completely differently tbh, because furries really do got to clean fucking house shouting at each other for culture purity shit too. Not that fascists don't need to be dumpstered, but furries are really bad about turning "justice" into clout harvesting cringe culture-esque garbage where they end up allying with fascists anyway.
I don't know who this person is. But they aren't wrong, by far.

@Kat@snouts.online @monorail @InspectorCaracal it's well known that the compositions that did appear in the final version of Sonic Chronicled were hastily ported MIDIs from vgmusic.com
@Kat@snouts.online @monorail @InspectorCaracal I'm pretty sure the story on this is they had a soundtrack, but were unable to come to an agreement with the composer over the use of the compositions, and had to scramble at the last minute. Since music tends to be licensed from the creator in the games industry, rather than sole ownership being transferred to the publisher. Similar thing happened with PS4/XB1/EGS Super Meat Boy.
