All I can think about is how over the years of reading and writing Rust, I've learned more and more to relentlessly simplify things and stay practical. It's made me so much stronger as a programmer and software engineer.

By custom handling acks, you get a lot more freedom to multiplex with varying degrees of ordering and reliability. This frees up your protocol to do things more concurrently and redundantly to counteract network unreliability.

@pandora_parrot bethesda spent thousands of dollars to license denuvo anti-piracy and wasted all of it because they included the original pre-denuvo exe in the game download.

they 0-day'd their own game.

the bethesda launcher version of doom eternal includes an EXE with no denuvo.
