NOAA seems to have some forecast data suggesting a tropical storm or hurricane in Texas next weekend. I'm a bit concerned. I know tropical forecasts this far out are very unreliable but, hrm.
unfortunately the turn system in FF12's combat prevents useful counter-spells like Disable and Stop from being very effective. Interrupts would be really, really nice to have, especially more interesting if enemies had counterable spell casts by design.

So here's a weird thing you might not know:
While Alice Cooper the band is a legend in shock rock, Alice Cooper the man is legitimately one of the best human beings in the US. He spends a substantial amount of his time and money helping fellow rockers beat addiction, and has been known to drop everything in order to make sure that a fan or friend is safe and secure. He's a feminist, pro-LGBTQ+, and is just generally a Good Dude.
if FF16 isn't more like FF12 (or at least, with systems as complex as it), I think it will be a disappointment tbh
in fact I really think if FF15 was supposed to be open world, it should have modeled itself more after FF12 than ... uhh, Skyrim?
it's really funny how much polar opposites FF12 and FF13 are in design.

I actually am starting to hate this because I'm being Gil-strangled by the cost of status effect upkeep in this battle system.
I guess it's better than 99% of random battles being boring.
I guess in Ivalice, the supply of Phoenix Downs greatly outnumbers the supply of status curatives for effects that would otherwise kill you
why is gil so hard to come by in FF12? i farmed for like 20 minutes and sold all the loot and i'm still scraping by
