This is something I've been thinking about a lot. I have no plans on changing my name because my name is gender neutral and can be leaning either way depending on cultural context. But without that it also feels like there isn't a commitment or that supposedly "omg I'm a X now" moment. So I dunno.

I definitely do say that the person I was is dead, though, but more out of embarrassment for the terrible shit I did than gender identity.
