Hey all! Do I know anyone here who knows how to do detailed CNC work and is willing to take a commission?

Briefly - I'm trying to make coins, and I'm convinced that the easiest way to do this is to use CNC milling to make stamping dies, but I don't know how, so let me know if you do! I can use Fusion360, Inventor, and Illustrator, and I already have a design ready, I just don't know how to use a CNC mill.

@CoronaCoreanici Is there a particular reason you want them stamped and not cast?

@starkatt Yeah - I'm not sure I'll be able to get the level of detail I want if I try and lost-material cast this, because I can't control the depth of engraving well enough on the acrylic cutter I use. It'll also be a lot easier to just have stamp dies rather than have to lost-material cast repeatedly.

@CoronaCoreanici You can lost-ABS/PLA cast 3d prints, if that helps?

That level of die machining is a major undertaking.

@starkatt I've already tried ABS and PLA - neither one gets even close to the level of detail I need. Acrylic engraving hasn't worked either. I might wind up trying a wood mill and lost-casting with that.
