I need to get a design decided on for mine. I'm afraid of walking into a tattoo shop and being all "Hey I have an idea but no idea how to execute it, can you sit with me and art for like an hour and then permanently mark the end result on me?" The fear is unreasonable but I can't make it go away. XD
@mawr That's totally a thing artists do, though. You'll definitely pay for the design time but that's like... the cool part of the job, from what I understand?
@mawr Also from what I understand artists are super happy to let you just come in and browse portfolios. Most have a decent amount of their art online too.
@starkatt Yeah!! I'm totally good with browsing, just uh, going from that to actually talking art is for some reason a thing that makes me hella anxious. ^^;;;;
@mawr Yeah, I totally get that. I get all... blushy and self-conscious. I imagine they're fairly used to that though?
