In all seriousness part of what is prompting me to try and learn more music theory is wanting to better understand what's going on in some of the Breath of the Wild tracks.

Y'know, I've never actually played the game, but the soundtrack is just so damn good.
I can't remember who said it, but something that really stuck in my head is the line "One sign that a composition is truly great is if it also sounds good in re-arrangements."

Also, from the new Zelda Breath of the Wild game, the first Divine Beast Va Ruta's dungeon music took my breath away and filled my eyes with tears. (...granted, I'm very susceptible to emotional responses from music. ^^;)
