Car update: it is in fact a broken starter motor. Shop is gonna charge me $425 for it, which is a cost I can absorb but didn't really plan for. I'd do it myself (and have before) were it not already in their garage.

I have introduced my coworker to KEXP. To someone who has apparently only listened to the most banal clearchannel stations, the idea of actual diverse programming is apparently pretty novel :D

(non-seattle folks, KEXP is an actually-kinda-legendary college music station known for launching local artists nationally)

Coworker and I seem to have tacitly decided that we make better decisions as a team and that trying to figure out who is technically "in charge" when we work together would be really counterproductive.
