@indi I think it would be so cool if people were having Glowtide parties in 50 years.

@indi I was actually thinking about Glowtide the other day! Appreciating how folks here are genuinely trying to build new culture where the existing one doesn't meet our needs.

Like, Glowtide isn't just " that annual party that Indi etc throws". It's "The midwinter party, currently habitually hosted by Indi etc."

And I think that's super cool actually.

Something something assuming ownership of the stories in our culture.

Personally I tend to feel like filk is generally more miss than hit, but I'm really glad it exists.

I'm starting to renormalize. Things still aren't okay, but I'm feeling more okay with doing normal stuff. Part of the process.

I want t be very clear here. Renormalization is not the same thing as forgetting. I don't want to ever forget Natalie.

Part of the reason the candle is in my bio and not my display name is I want it to be there forever. I don't want there to be any reason for me to drop it within a couple months.

I want to be able to switch between headphones and speakers in software. My motherboard has jacks for 5.1 sound. In windows 10, is there a way to use one of the other jacks as stereo headphones output if I want to?
