There was this software called Swinger that would automagically edit a song to go to a swing beat, and I'm really sad I can't find it because I've thinking for a while that The Mother We Share by CVRCHES would be hecka cool swung.

Me: reading Mastodon on her computer, pulls out phone to check an app for something
reflexively opens Mastodon on her phone as soon as it's unlocked.
That made me feel a bit silly.
Argh, apparently to order contact lenses I need an actual recent vision prescription. I can't just plug in the lens powers and have them stick 'em in the mail :/

My memory is bad enough that I've *had* to become happy with accepting that experiences have value even if they're inherently ephemeral and won't be well remembered.
Though I guess, in the end that's all that any of us have.

...huh, just had a weird moment of confusion over my hash tables when I realized that glitter is only a gay signifier when applied to men, and I'm... not one of those?
