I'm also of the opinion that this spectrum of internal experiences is /vastly/ more common than almost anyone acknowledges, and that cultural models and narratives play a large part in how it's understood and expressed a lot of the time. Mental metaphors play a huge part in how we understand our experiences, and it's easy for people to dismiss or ignore feelings they don't have a social context for.
Programming note: I'm putting plural stuff behind CWs not because I think it necessarily needs a content warning, but because I'm still kinda shy about it.

What I'm saying is, "reality" is one big-ass Necker Cube.
an Objective Reality might exist, but that's not the world we as people actually live in. The universe we experience is built inside our heads, out of mental language and implicit metaphor resulting from eons of evolution.
Our stories and narratives are important. Our metaphors shape our reality. Subjectivity matters.
And, if we want, our reality can be sculpted.
One of the best pieces of advice I've ever read is "trust your future self".
It's easy to worry about future decisions you might have to make. It's /really/ easy to worry about your goals or desires changing sometime down the road.
It's okay. Future You will probably make reasonable decisions based on what feels right at the time, using the information then present. Trust them to handle things when the time comes, if it does.
