Hey @AmyDentata you wrote an essay (in the late 2000s?) about how we don't yet have meaningful concepts of genre for videogames but I'm having trouble finding it? It was really influential to me.
Small UI decisions can shape not just individual user experience, but also the culture of an entire online space.
Something about the run animation in super mario odessey is viscerally uncomfortable to me.
I have yet to hear a single good thing about ExpressScipts. And I have heard many bad things.
I played the bitcoin simulator game one of y'all linked and it got even darker than I expected.

Aside from relationship/communication skills, the biggest thing I've structurally learned from being polyamorous is that each person and relationship is fundamentally unique and inherently non-fungible.

Remember to tip your instance admins. Moderating online communities is a full time job that not everyone can get right.
Most times, donations barely cover server costs.
And, if you see another instance's admin who does a great job, tip them, too.
