Finding exoplanets in furry worlds is so much easier than it is in the real world. Turn-of the century technology enabled the FAT detection algorithm (Fennec Array Telescope) where at a certain time all the fennecs just turn their ears in a certain direction.

@Kandrel the problem is filtering out the noise made by the fennecs themselves because feeding them caffeine increases their sensitivity but also their noise floor

@hakirsch @Kandrel A step in solving this problem was to assemble a group of fennecs in the desert to eliminate other interference. This was known as the VLA or Very Loud Array.
