Ah, the age-old problem of "I sat on a joke for too long and now I'm second-guessing myself."

Our campaign is going up to LL2, which means everyone's graduating from their 🗻 variants and putting on their real mechs.

My pilot's current mech, Port of Call, took zero seconds to name. She worked in long-haul shipping, and it's a giant wall of armor that everyone hides behind while moving in between point A and objective B.

The big gag of her next mech is that it gives enemies two equally awful options: attack my allies and suffer volleys of reaction fire, or attack me and risk your mech simply ceasing to function. In the end it's not even a real choice at all.

My gut immediately called it, "Sophist's Choice", but it's an ancient reference in 2025, let along in 5016u, of questionable taste, kind of pretentious, and I'm not sure it's a joke that the pilot wold make.

Most importantly, though, I'm not sure if it's even funny outside of my head.
