i was put on a conference call, and i was pacing back and forth in the school atrium while struggling to formulate complete sentences and words over the phone

conference calls are the *worst*, and i'm sorry you had to go through that
that said, a place that does this to interviewees sounds like an environment that might have been a good thing for you to avoid, because it often means they don't really understand mental health well and might have been ultimately damaging to you in some other way if it worked out

@thingywott tbh the place i ended up at wasnt very good either and i had an awful time, but hey at least they didnt make me do a phone interview
