thinking about it more, it seems to just be a label people call others when they are judging them for having different priorities

i mean, if you prioritize something, but don't do it, that's called executive dysfunction and that's a Different Thing entirely

the other use; the times we use it on ourselves, is mostly being apologetic about the things we've already determined are more important to us in the immediate term

and that's just us feeling bad that our priorities don't line up with someone else's too, isn't it?
