actualy before i go i have a question about the hardest problem in computer science: naming things

i'm having trouble defining it with words so i'll give you some examples

A: a 6-page comic
B: one page from that comic
A: one of those drawing furries do where there's a safe variant and two horny variants
B: one of those variants
A: "the mona lisa"
B: a scan of the mona lisa
B: a photo of the mona lisa in the louvre
B: a recovered sketch of the mona lisa

what do you call A? what do you call B?

in musicbrainz terms A would be a work (which i think is great here) and B would be a recording (which obviously does not make sense here)

i'm gravitating towards something like "representation" "presentation" or maybe "frame" for B but it doesn't really feel right

@codl maybe A would be the original and B is a sample of it?
