@shoofle i've mainly used milkytracker, but i've been dabbling in others - i really like famitracker for NES, and i've juuust started trying out openmpt
as for the formats themselves, tbh they're all kinda weird and have some stuff i don't like about them, but my favorite is still probably gonna be xm just cos milky was my first tracker
@typhlosion that's cool!! I have done my chipmusic experiments in lsdj on my gameboy and would do more except that the flash cart died :(

@shoofle it's a competition website, mainly for music (especially chiptune music) but they also have other formats sometimes. there are one-hour battles and also bigger competitions
@shoofle and also just, thinking about trackers in general, and thinking about designing a new tracker with its own format, just for fun
