@monorail its good if you enjoy that specific subgenre of shonen anime where theres the main dude and hes really fucking strong and over the course of the show he keeps somehow getting even stronger despite him previously already being at the literal peak of strength

@avie @monorail without seeing the rest of the thread i saw this post and was like "oh i love dragon ball" so kudos lmao

@typhlosion @monorail i spent like a solid month of 2019 just reading through all of dragon ball and dragon ball z lmfao

really enjoyed it honestly, i should probably get onto the remaining anime gubbins

Follow

@avie @monorail apparently super is where it really goes off the rails

@typhlosion @monorail i mean yeah

the buu saga is pretty fuckin off the rails as it is to be quite honest so hearing that super just proper goes off is very much expected

as i said: dbz and jojos are basically the same type of shonen anime

@avie @monorail misread that as "shoujo anime" at first and was confused

but then i imagined what dragon ball and jojo would be like if they were for shoujo but otherwise followed the same stories, and was restored to full hp

@typhlosion @monorail well see funny thing about that is at the time of reading dbz i was also reading a very good shoujo manga too, and,

@typhlosion @monorail ("my love story" if youre interesting. highly recommend it, its lovely)
