i love to unplug my battery-powered heating system controller from the wall so i can change its batteries. i wish there was an easier and more convenient way to power it, though... oh well. price of modern technology i guess

i've been using duolingo for a year straight now

admittedly most of that time has been spent in some of the worst executive dysfunction of my life, where i wasn't able to do much more than practice the same few skills each day. so, i'm not quite as far along with any language as this might sound

but, it's still a milestone i'm kinda proud of. it's something i've been able to get myself to do relatively consistently

here's hoping i can take it thru another year
