obviously there are ways to modify the query so google translate gives more of an intended result, but imagine if i didn't know enough japanese to catch the error

i know this is the most basic observation ever, but it's funny that it still happens: for "please excuse my poor japanese", google translate gives 「私の貧しい日本人を許してください」 which is literally "please forgive my impoverished japanese person"

why am i excusing your aunt sally? i dont care how dear she is, just tell me what she did
