hey friends, another dreamcast question: what's the recommended way to bypass region locking these days? preferably for free, or for the cost of a cd-r

someday i'll get it modded, to make it region-free and also to load games from a hard drive, but for now i don't have the money or the space, so something i can just burn to a disc would be ideal

@bentosmile that reminds me, what's the cheapest easiest way to bypass the region locking? i have an ntsc-j copy of pier solar that i want to play. i'll probably look into getting it modded someday, to bypass region locking and to load off a hard drive, but in the meantime i dont have the money or space for something like that

f(x,y) = (((~(y - x)) - (-(x / x))) % (((x / y) % (~x)) / ((-x) ^ (-y)))) % 3

Extent: 256x256 (scaled x2)

"Onebit" colouring scheme.

re: hades the video game by supergiant games

@jan_j aegis, zeus aspect

As someone that was into artificial intelligence more than a couple of decades ago, I'm a bit disappointed by where artificial intelligence seems to be landing as a field of study.

The type of neural networks that are taking off right now are the technical equivalent of using a sledgehammer to do home repair. They're a tool that lacks sophistication, awareness, and any form of critical analysis.

Watching companies dump data into a neural network, have it shit out derivative output, and then calling it "magic" isn't just dystopian, it's honestly just depressing.

hades the video game by supergiant games

i got my first successful escape attempt today. it was my 25th attempt *ever* and i thought it was just gonna be a warm-up for the night. my friends tell me that's quite fast to get a clear, so i'm pretty proud

@typhlosion 30 homophobes and a gay guy live in a house big brother style. The official aim of the game is to vote for who they think is gay and the highest votes is kicked out each week until they find the gay and win a prize.

The actual game is that they just hired 31 homophobes instead. We tune in to laugh at how pathetic toxic masculinity is. There is no prize.

here's a free one

contestants are given free room and board in a big glamorous city, and given a few weeks to shop around and design a lineup of outfits that they will have modeled at the end of the show. the twist: their budget for clothes is small enough that they have to go thrifting and crafting to put together their outfits. which contestant can look best for less???
