@Xkeeper yeah - like i said, the context is that i need to move some files in a way that would be destructive to the seeding, but the files are like a terabyte in total so i don't want to copy them around
the context here is that i've got a bunch of the eXo collections seeding, but the torrents put them in their own separate folders and (according to the installer) i need to merge them before installing them in order for it to work properly, which would be destructive to the torrent seeding
torrenting etiquette question: how long should i seed a torrent (aside from "as long as possible" obviously)? i figure my seed/leech ratio should be above a certain value - 1.0? 2.0? any guidance here?

Mastodon would benefit from somewhat better moderation/spam addressing tools. Most of what exists now seems to be geared towards dealing with problematic individuals, not with "there's a thousand automated accounts posting tens of thousands of mentions in minutes".
