@shi i was lucky enough to know a few folks who i knew were already on there. honestly it is not enough to make me interested in continuing to use the platform for anything

and yet i still see the occasional complaint on there from someone who wishes there were fewer furries there. it is palpable how much apathy fills my heart when i think about posting or following anyone or even viewing my feed. i havent bothered to install any app for bsky and i dont think i ever will

bluesky review so far: a small island of furries and cool-ish folks in a vast roiling ocean of *at best* the most boring, insipid, and unfunny types of person you remember from twitter, *at worst* the most stereotypically incurious and casually cruel people you remember from there

STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) has been criticized as a concept for focusing too heavily on technical disciplines. STEAM (which adds arts) doesn't go far enough in my opinion. thus i propose: Science, Civics, History, Math, Engineering, Arts, Technology
