tight 90-degree turns and janky switchbacks on tiny country roads in heavy cars with slippy tires in the rain

guys i think this seasonal may have been crafted specifically to torture me

i am on record as saying that if you design race courses with long straightaways followed by tight 90-degree turns you have an evil spirit inside you. the broadway gp course is a top notch example of what i mean

good job to the forza team for making a seasonal event where we have to take a course with super tight turns using a type of car that starts up really slow and can't fucking turn

if i am ever head of a big game company that makes it to e3 for a big presentation, i'll use my allotted time to host a non-video-game-related improv comedy troupe on stage, and really quickly list off all my company's upcoming titles and their release dates at the end

zzt and megazeux are a part of the history of video games, for better and for worse. they're worth preserving and it's great that they're still around, but it's still a shame that the only things like them today still have design sensibilities from 1994

game engines where you can open up other people's games in them and look at how they're built are sometimes a better teacher of game design than four years of classes
