so i didn't want to be doing this again but because of covid, we're in a bad financial situation and are at risk of not making rent, let alone paying any of our other bills...
our sole source of income is jerking us around holding up money, and has done so for essentially a whole month at this point...
we haven't gone grocery shopping in about a month and are running low on food, might not make our phone or internet bills, and i might fall behind on paying off my credit card and loan, even with the minimum payments...
i really hate asking but if you can spare anything for a few transfemmes living the hard life in oklahoma, id be very VERY grateful...
its very hard for us right now and its causing us all in this house extreme mental anguish.
we're all hungry and scared. i don't know what else to do...

23 million Americans are at risk of eviction. that's not a crisis-that's a full on collapse. landlords are a part of the problem, your boss is a part of the problem, every cop is a part of the problem. Capitalism is a dying system, its collapse has always been inevitable. Give it a fucking good shove.

My oldest kiddo just showed me this and spit all over me with laughter
Y'know those "we buy houses" signs, often held up with zip-ties? Those are put up by people who are trying to kill your neighborhood. They're trying to displace you and your neighbors, so they can "develop" that area and make it more appealing to rich people.
Carry a pocket knife and tear those fucking things down. No one will stop you.

granted what i'm drinking is blueberry herbal tea, but y'know, i'm sure it's good also if it's "actual" tea-leaf tea
to reify this somewhat: if you had a job that paid you a constant $3600/hr (one dollar per second worked), 40 hours a week, from the moment you turned 18 to the moment you turned 65, and you never had to spend any money on anything (including food, rent, bills, medical emergencies, and taxes), you would retire with roughly a third of a billion dollars
In 1986 some geothermal teams in communist Romania drilled their way into a subterranean world, a world which had been cut off from the rest of the biosphere for 5.5 million years. No food, water, sunlight, or even radioactive particles from the Chernobyl disaster had made it there, these biologist and cavers were the first. It was warm and full of toxic gases, and it had a lake that was absolutely teeming with creatures. This is Movile Cave in Romania.
The cave was filled with 33 unique and endemic species of troglobites, among them were spiders, centipedes, leeches, and many, many isopods. They fed on a thin gooey film of chemosynthetic bacteria on the water and walls, the first known example of a terrestrial chemosynthetic ecosystem.
