So! Fantasy Strike just became free to play, which is fantastic news!
If you haven't heard of it before, Fantasy Strike is a fighting game focused on accessibility and ease of execution. There's no long combos or complicated movesets to learn, all actions are mapped to a single button each. There's still a LOT of depth to it, but it all comes from strategy and reading your opponent, rather than how quickly you can perform complex series of inputs. That makes it ideal for newcomers to the fighting game genre, but it's also enjoyable for veterans!
The big patch that just dropped, along with making the game free, added two new characters and a ton of cosmetics. Playing for free, you can queue for online matches with people all over the world (and the game's netcode is fantastic, which means it can feel smooth even when playing across continents). If you buy the core pack, you gain the ability to challenge and play with your friends, along with access to a couple of singleplayer modes.
The game's available on Steam, PS4 and Switch, with full crossplay. The servers are a little overloaded right now with the influx of new players, and the newest patch is being held up by Nintendo which means Switch players might have to wait a little. Still, whenever you can, please check out this game! I promise it's worth your time!

For a really long time I thought that I wasn't allowed to be happy. Like the universe was actively trying to fuck me over and make me miserable. And it was all bullshit!
The truth is that I was already happy. I just didn't know it because I didn't know how to be happy, y'know? I thought happiness was this all-encompassing thing like depression.
But it wasn't.
You're allowed to be happy, no matter how temporary it feels.
