I guess there's *still* a sentiment of folks being scared that we're gonna get mad at you if you violate our CoC
Realistically speaking we're only going to hold you to task if you're purposefully doing something that involves creating harm for an awoo.space member, and even then negotiating the CoC without knowledge of it and accidentally violating something is why our moderation is very discussion oriented

There's a laundry list of behavior in our CoC that's hard to dive into and I get how you might not want to read that. We as mods and admins are here to help you navigate that.
That's ok if you don't read it. But being around here and interacting with our members means you're going to be open to learning why those things are in place and that you aren't going to act in bad faith when we need to step in and say "hey, you're creating harm"

Being a remote user, we don't have any control over your behavior when you're not involving an awoo member. If I know you and you get reported, I'll probably talk to you, but you are going to have 0 consequences from us unless it's actively, purposeful harm.

I've announced this in the past and just now in a reply but-
I built a pretty shoddy but good-enough fix that stops conversations to users involving members of domain blocked instances from showing up in the home timeline. People can still see it over in your direct page if they look.
The consequence is we don't worry about who folks on other instances want to talk with any more- whether that's users or admins. We only care if you involve us/our users.

TL;DR: Be nice to our users and if I have a relationship with you I might talk to you about problematic behavior if you're not involving our members. You're fine to do what you want.
We prefer talking to folks first to solve problems. If it's obvious bad faith and intent are involved, we'll figure it out. If not, we'll move on to next steps.
