what if there was a system for that
you rp a fantasy character who has various stats associated with understanding of the game and you play the inner game by rping as the fantasy character playing the inner game & using their outer mechanics for accomplishing tasks in the inner game

DM: "okay, let's roll for etiquette for Gronk"

DM: "Gronk feels that this is totally a correct move and his belle slugs the man in the face. Roll damage"
