hey friends -
in the wake of the intel chip fiasco, if you're not sure if your OS is secure yet or you want to make sure (this is a good idea) consider using NoScript on Firefox to turn off all Javascript on an individual source basis
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript/
This is a little hard to use if you're not technical but it does break down all sources of Javascript that executes in your browser so you can tell it to only trust on a source-per-site basis!

@vahnj Do you have any experience with uMatrix in comparison to No Script? I’m a uMatrix user and I’m not that familiar with how it compares to No Script
security suggestion
@USBloveDog I don't, actually! I'm curious about it, what does uMatrix do for you?
NoScript keeps it straightforward for me in that it delineates every script source on a page and allows you to either enable a script temporarily for the session, or permanently between browser sessions

@USBloveDog neat! looks a lot more comprehensive detailing about other resources than just javascript.
no script pretty much exclusively shows script stuff https://awoo.space/media/bQzyGqXByqlnMxF_BKY
