tell each of them you're considering the others' offer and bump up your $ costs between them, and just pick the one you think you'll like working at more :3c

@witchfynder_finder if it's similar work definitely push through until you get an offer and definitely negotiate.
if they won't give you pay increases, definitely ask after things like:
- stock grants (don't go for options if you can help it)
- traveller benefits
- 401k matching
- signing bonuses (this one especially)

@vahnj No, which is also part of the issue. Like, they've made it pretty clear they want me on the team, but due to paperwork and bureaucracy and whatnot they can't technically SAY that yet. They want me to come in for an observation shift tomorrow, tho, and I'm gonna make it clear I have other options.

@witchfynder_finder The only person who needs to know any details about the other offer you're considering is your recruiter - but if anyone asks how you're liking it, definitely compare it to the other job ("I like you folks, though this seems similar to what I'd be doing at the other place I'm considering" is a good way to phrase it)

@vahnj One job was pretty solid on what they'd offer and I haven't actually heard a $ from the other because they're waiting on a background check before interview 2. They're actually very similar jerbs, too, which is the weirdest part. Like, either way I'll be doing roughly the same thing.
