What do you mean by assumptions about performance characteristics of the server?

@nolan @bea Kept timing out my queries after 20 seconds. Awoo sometimes gets in a bad memory space that requires restarts but is otherwise functional and timing out that early is making it really hard to upload images lol

@vahnj @bea Ohhhh interesting. Maybe 20 seconds is too aggressive. The goal is to fallback to offline mode when offline. I'll open an issue.
