Work

Working from home with a UTI... had a simple plan to fix and resolve a P1 issue that someone pushed off me yesterday because I laid out everything that needed to be done in the jira issue but did not get a chance to work on it Monday or Tuesday (because going to after hours clinic because penises are not supposed to leak blood after urinating)

What actually happened?
Apparently I fucked up our svn staging version of the file I was working on because I updated to Mojava but didn't update XCODE Tools... so when I merged my 10 line change...

SVN merged the same 10 line change 200+ times adding 700 and something lines.

Meanwhile my phone is going off like fucking air raid siren the whole damned day because vpn boxes are onfire and mysql slaves are on fire and this thing I'm trying to work on... is P1 also fire... that someone decided to assign to me because left a comment saying "I'll work on this if I have time but otherwise here is what needs to be done"

None of which should have been difficult or hard or time consuming but someone decided they didn't fucking want to do anything about and ignored the P1 in the critical queue by re-assigning it back to me while I was asleep.

Thanks jackass.

Soooo I'm out of fucks and out of spoons and ugh...

I have a team dinner tomorrow which includes all of my upper management and the team I'm supposed to be transitioning to with promotion in a few months.... and I have a UTI.... and I really want to just take tomorrow... off because I'm working this weekend too... but... fuck I feel obligated to go... assuming the pager doesn't fucking explode from 5pm-7pm tomorrow... I guess if it does I'll slip off home to fix things.
