The latter is something I've commissioned before, the former is something I want to commission but I'm even more shy about. Much of that Bonus Shame is internalized transphobia I think.
... Which is a good reason to push against it and actively seek out an artist for that, specifically.
That definitely seems like a good reason to push against those feelings. There are definitely some very good artists in the fandom for that sort of subject though! Go for it! It gets easier after the first time!
