Notable US Fascist Sentenced to Prison

They gave Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio 22 years for sedicious conspiracy with a terrorism adjustment for destroying a fence (presumably providing a perimeter breach of Capitol grounds security for the mob) on January 6th. Even after he squealed on everyone else in his group.

He'll be 61 when released if he serves the full term.

Re: prison: abolitionism

I'm a prison abolitionist so I have some weird mixed feelings about this. I want to celebrate a fascist taken literally off the streets, but all I can think of is how much better connected, harder, and more traumatized this asshole is going to be when he gets out.

I hate this country so much. #DeathToAmerica
